One little way to get smoother skin naturally

One little way to get smoother skin naturally

It’s fall as I write this post. The air is becoming more crisp and dry as the days go on. WIth the dry and crisp air come dry and rough skin.  People are complaining about dry rough skin more and more. Not only is dry skin uncomfortable but makeup isn’t wearing right.

In today’s post, you’ll learn about one little way to get smoother skin naturally. You’ve probably already guessed it, exfoliating! That’s right, it's true, if you incorporate exfoliation into your life, your skin will become more smooth naturally. While this may seem obvious, I still get tons of questions about exfoliators and the proper way to exfoliate.

In the world of exfoliation, there are two different types of exfoliators, chemical and physical. Chemical exfoliators are some of my favorite they have acids like AHA and fruit enzymes. If you’re a beginner and looking for a gentle exfoliator, I highly recommend the Kypris Glow  Philtre mask!

When you think physical exfoliation, you think about a micro derm scrub or a harsher scrub. While I love getting down with a more intense scrub, you may find that more subtle and mild feeling exfoliators are more effective. At least that’s my experience with it. I found that I had more results from a mask like OY-l Exfoliating Manuka Mask than say a self heating micro derm scrub.

Start off my exfoliating once a week and then move to 2-3 times a weeks as your skin builds tolerance. Try not to do more than that as over exfoliating can cause skin irritations and problems as well.

Once you’ve consistently exfoliated for a few weeks not only will you notice that your makeup will wear smoother, your other skin products will penetrate deeper and work harder for you. Skin is like anything in life, real results come from consistency.

Thank you for reading today’s post! As always, I’d love to know what you think. What is your experience with exfoliators. Leave a comment below!
